Matty Nouwens
Matty's first career was as a boilermaker and welding inspector. By chance he moved into carpentry, and progressed to a licensed builder. His earlier work includes architecturally designed, skeletal steel framed homes.
Compass Homes is his newest challenge: bringing that same steel-frame quality to a market where housing has become harder to afford and harder to find, using a skeletal steel frame and a modular system, without giving up the style and comfort of a traditional home.
Matty's own children are trying to buy into that same housing market. The scalability built into every Compass design (start with what you need, grow into what you want) was shaped with them, and people like them, in mind.
